Saudi Aramco and TotalEnergies Award $11 Billion Contracts for Amiral Project at SATORP Refinery
Saudi Aramco and TotalEnergies have awarded contracts worth $11 billion for the Amiral project, a petrochemical complex expansion at the SATORP refinery in Saudi Arabia.
The project is expected to create around 7,000 jobs and attract $4 billion in additional investment in various industrial sectors.
The contracts were awarded to several EPC firms, including Hyundai Engineering and Construction, Maire Tecnimont, and Sinopec Engineering.
The project is a joint petrochemical expansion and is expected to produce 1,650 kilotons per annum of ethylene and other industrial gases.
