Saudi Arabia Showcases Literary and Islamic Heritage at Rabat Book Fair

Saudi pavilion highlights Kingdom's cultural and intellectual ties with Morocco, promoting literary and creative output.
Saudi Arabia concluded its participation in the 31st Rabat International Book Fair, held from May 1 to 10, emphasizing the nation's rich cultural and intellectual heritage.

The event served as a platform for showcasing Saudi literature, publishing, and Islamic scholarship in Morocco.Abdullatif Al-Wasel, CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, underscored that this participation underscores the diplomatic and cultural relations between the two nations.

It aims to introduce Saudi authors' works to Moroccan audiences, enhancing mutual understanding and appreciation through shared literary pursuits.The Saudi pavilion was designed as a cultural hub, embodying Saudi Vision 2030 by highlighting the Kingdom's commitment to promoting its literary and creative outputs on an international stage.

Within this dedicated space, a comprehensive program was organized featuring renowned Saudi writers.

This included panel discussions and poetry readings that drew significant interest from attendees.One of the pavilion’s highlights was the display of Saudi literature’s growing prominence, both locally and globally.

It also featured national initiatives aimed at supporting authors and publishers across various fields, demonstrating the Kingdom's investment in its literary sector’s growth and development.The Ministry of Islamic Affairs played a crucial role in the pavilion by attracting academics, researchers, media professionals, families, and children with its diverse offerings.

Notably, visitors were able to explore publications from the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex.

This section offered insights into the meticulous stages involved in Qur'an printing.The Saudi presence was further enriched by showcasing Qur’anic recitations, translations in multiple languages, rare manuscripts, and digital content.

These displays aimed at highlighting Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims worldwide.Overall, Saudi Arabia’s participation in the 31st Rabat International Book Fair exemplified its dedication to preserving, promoting, and sharing its rich literary and Islamic heritage with global audiences.
