Saudi Arabia's 911 Service Manages Over 28 Million Calls in 2023
In 2023, Saudi Arabia's National Center for Security Operations (911) processed over 28 million calls up to December 8, serving millions across Riyadh, Makkah, and Al-Sharqiyah.
With a swift 2-second initial response time and a 45-second relay to relevant authorities, the center significantly improved the country's quality of life, preserving life and property, and streamlining services for citizens, residents, and tourists. This efficacy is part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to uplift security standards to world-class levels.
Integrated into the Quality of Life Program under Saudi Vision 2030, the 911 centers drive coordination among security and service entities during emergencies. They leverage state-of-the-art, automated systems and a multilingual, expert team to ensure prompt sector-wide emergency responses.
