Jordan's Abdullah II and Kuwait's Mishal Al-Ahmad Stress Peace, Diplomacy, and Regional Cooperation
During his two-day state visit to Jordan, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and King Abdullah II of Jordan emphasized the need to decrease tensions in the Middle East and prevent military escalation, as reported by Petra News Agency.
Following their meetings, a joint statement was released on Wednesday.
The leaders discussed methods to strengthen Arab cooperation to address emerging regional challenges and work towards common Arab goals.
They reaffirmed their commitment to promoting security and stability in the region and prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions to resolve conflicts and differences.
The Palestinian issue was also a topic of discussion, with both leaders expressing their support for achieving a just solution and implementing the two-state solution.
In addition, they explored opportunities for investment, tourism, and increasing trade between Jordan and Kuwait.
