Saudi and Bahraini Public Prosecutors Meet, Discuss Historical Ties and Judicial Cooperation in Manama
On Sunday, Saudi Arabia's Public Prosecutor, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujeb, paid a visit to his Bahraini counterpart, Ali bin Fadl Al Buainain, in Manama.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Al-Buainain warmly welcomed Al-Mujeb and his delegation, expressing his pleasure at the visit which he viewed as a continuation of the exchange of visits between the judicial bodies of the two countries and a testament to their ongoing collaboration in combating transnational crime.
During their meeting, Al-Mujeb underscored the historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, which he noted have been strengthening across various sectors.
He specifically mentioned the progress being made in parliamentary cooperation and the sharing of information to ensure regional security.
Al-Mujeb also emphasized the strong support the Saudi public prosecution receives from its leadership, which he believed contributed to the efficiency of its judicial processes.
Al-Buainain, for his part, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and the opportunity it provided for the two counterparts to discuss ways to deepen their cooperation.
He reiterated Bahrain's commitment to working closely with Saudi Arabia to address common challenges and enhance security in the region.
