Saudi Arabia's Jeddah to Host Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization's Executive Council and General Conference
The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is holding its Executive Council and General Conference in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from May 14-17.
This event brings together ministers and heads of national committees from 22 Arab countries to promote education, culture, and science, and strengthen ties with Arab and Islamic nations.
Saudi Arabia's commitment to these areas aligns with the directives of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Saudi minister of culture and chairman of the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
The Kingdom aims to increase its involvement in ALECSO and support the organization's mission, while also advancing education, culture, and science within Arab societies.
The Executive Council of the Arab League Education, Culture and Science Organization (ALECSO) will hold its 121st meeting on May 14-15.
The 27th General Conference will follow on May 17, with over 145 attendees from Arab countries and related organizations.
The General Conference will focus on enhancing ALECSO's programs and initiatives through working sessions.
The goal is to promote scientific, educational, cultural, and communication projects that foster a new generation of Arabs who embrace their identity, language, and heritage while looking towards a more innovative and sustainable future.
