FII PRIORITY Europe Unveils Agenda and Keynote Speakers for Rome Summit

The Future Investment Initiative Institute announced the first group of keynote speakers and the strategic agenda for the FII PRIORITY Europe 2026 summit, set to take place from June 17 to 19 in Rome, Italy.
The Future Investment Initiative Institute has revealed the lineup of keynote speakers and a comprehensive agenda for the FII PRIORITY Europe 2026 summit.

The event will be held in Rome, Italy, from June 17 to 19, under the theme "Europe Reimagined: Capital, Sovereignty & Strategic Autonomy".

The summit aims to gather global investors, policymakers, innovators, and business leaders to discuss strengthening capital deployment and enhancing Europe's long-term competitiveness across various sectors such as energy, technology, security, finance, and industrial transformation.

Richard Attias, the executive committee chairman and acting CEO of the FII Institute, stated that Europe is on the verge of a significant period where its ability to mobilize capital effectively will determine its resilience and strategic autonomy.

He emphasized that the summit is designed to bring together global leaders and investors to address both challenges and opportunities in sectors like energy, AI, manufacturing, finance, and sustainable growth.

Among the key discussion topics on the agenda are Europe at the inflection point, tariffs, trade, and the new geoeconomic order, as well as sovereign AI.

The summit will also cover whether Europe can build its own AI infrastructure.

The event will feature a diverse group of high-profile speakers including Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, Saudi Ambassador to the US and a trustee of the FII Institute, and Yasir Al-Rumayyan, governor of the Public Investment Fund, chairman of Saudi Aramco and chairman of the FII Institute Board of Trustees.

The list also includes Edi Rama, prime minister of Albania, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Saudi minister of tourism, Ana Paula Assis, senior vice president and chair at IBM Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, and other influential figures in global politics, finance, and technology.

The speakers reflect the summit's focus on Europe's growth, capital mobilization, strengthening strategic industries, securing digital infrastructure and future energy systems, and connecting Europe's public and private sectors with global markets.

The FII PRIORITY Europe 2026 summit is set to be a significant platform for discussion and collaboration on the continent's future direction.
