Three retired Saudi Airlines Boeing 777 planes embarked on an epic 1,000 km road journey from Jeddah to Riyadh, under the supervision of GEA Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh, to be featured at the Riyadh Season 2024 Boulevard Runway starting October 28. These planes will transform into immersive entertainment, dining, and retail spaces, blending cultural and leisure activities celebrating Saudi Arabia's aviation heritage.
As another cultural highlight, the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 will take place from September 26 to October 5 at King Saud University, featuring Qatar as the guest of honor. The fair will showcase Qatar's cultural heritage with rare manuscripts and over 200 activities, emphasizing Saudi Arabia's significant cultural role in the Arab world.
Expanding to the southern region, IKEA Alsulaiman has opened new stores in Jazan and Abha, continuing a path towards 30 locations across Saudi Arabia by 2028. This move by the Alsulaiman Group aims to offer better services and a wide range of products to customers in these popular shopping destinations.
