Al Hilal Reschedules Training Due to Weather, Awaits AFC Champions League Semi-final Against Al Ain
In preparation for tomorrow's semi-final first leg of the AFC Champions League against Al Ain, Al Hilal has adjusted its training regime and held a technical briefing by Jorge Jesus due to the current weather conditions in the UAE, as announced by the club's media center on Tuesday.
Led by manager Jorge Jesus, Al Hilal’s technical team opted for various exercises inside the physical preparation room of the team's residence, along with a technical lecture. This decision comes as a precaution for the upcoming match against the Emirati team, Al Ain, which is now facing a rescheduling due to the adverse weather conditions.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed the postponement of the eagerly anticipated match between Emirates' Al Ain and Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, initially set to occur today at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium at 8 PM local time in the UAE. The postponement follows directives from local authorities, leading the UAE Football Association to suspend all football activities today to ensure the safety of fans, players, and all parties involved.
The match has been rescheduled to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, keeping the same venue and kick-off time.
This announcement comes after the UAE Football Association declared earlier today the postponement of all football matches due to the weather conditions, stating that a later date will be determined for the resumption of football activities.
