Prince Salman bin Sultan, the Emir of Madinah Region, inaugurated the 12th Cultures and Peoples' Festival at the Islamic University in Madinah.
The event, which runs until May 6, promotes unity among different cultures and Islamic values.
Prince Salman visited pavilions representing participating countries and learned about the festival's objectives, including enhancing communication, teamwork, and peace among nations.
The festival also aims to bridge the gap between university students and the local community.
Dr. Hassan Al-Oufi, Acting President of the Islamic University, highlighted the international influence of the university, having graduated over 100,000 students from more than 170 countries.
