Ang mga Depensa sa Hangin ng Iran ay Tumugon sa Hindi Pinaka-Kilalang Pag-atake ng Drone malapit sa Isfahan Air Base at Nuclear Site

Ang mga puwersa ng Iran ay tumugon sa mga pag-atake ng drone mula sa Israel malapit sa base ng Isfahan at isang site ng nuclear sa gitnang Iran noong Biyernes ng umaga.
Hindi kinumpirma ng hukbong Israeli ang pag-atake, ngunit ang mga tensyon ay tumataas mula nang hindi pa naranasan ang pag-atake ng Iran sa Israel sa panahon ng pag-aaway nito sa Hamas sa Gaza at ang mga pag-atake ng Israel laban sa mga target ng Iran sa Syria. Walang opisyal ng Iran ang direktang umamin sa pakikibahagi ng Israel. Sa pagpupulong ng G7 sa Capri, inihayag ng Ministro ng Panlabas na Italya na si Antonio Tajani na ang US ay nakatanggap ng impormasyon sa huling sandali mula sa Israel tungkol sa isang pag-atake sa Isfahan, Iran. Ang mga opisyal ng Amerika ay nanatiling tahimik sa bagay na ito, ngunit ang mga hindi pinangalanang opisyal ng Estados Unidos ay sinipi ng mga network ng broadcast ng Amerika bilang kumpirmasyon ng paglahok ng Israel. Ang mga di-kilala na opisyal ng Israel ay nag-angkin din ng responsibilidad para sa pag-atake, na naganap sa ika-85 kaarawan ng Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Ang mga pulitiko ng Israel ay nag-aalalang sa pag-atake, at ang mga baterya ng depensa sa hangin ay na-activate bilang tugon sa mga ulat ng mga drone sa ilang mga lalawigan. Isang kumander ng hukbo ng Iran, si Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi, iniulat na ang mga tripulante ay nag-target ng maraming mga lumilipad na bagay sa kalangitan sa Isfahan, Iran.
