Aquarabia, Middle East's Largest Water Park, Opens to Public at Qiddiya City

The expansive water park, featuring 22 rides and attractions across eight themed zones, is set to become a major entertainment destination in the region.
Riyadh: Aquarabia, the largest water park in the Middle East, opened its doors on Thursday at Qiddiya City, located on the outskirts of Riyadh.

Spanning an impressive area of 250,000 sq.

meters, the park boasts eight themed zones and 22 rides and attractions for visitors to enjoy.

Among the highlights is the Junoon Drop, considered the world's tallest and longest water coaster.

Additionally, thrill-seekers can experience Slithereel, which holds the title of the world's longest slide wheel, and explore Surftopia, an artificial wave pool that allows for adjustable wave sizes catering to different skill levels.

Aquarabia welcomed its first guests at midday, offering a variety of live performances on the Wave Wadi stage, featuring headlining acts by Saudi artists.

The park will operate daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with special arrangements in place for Fridays, dedicated exclusively to women and children.

On this day, an all-female staff will deliver entertainment programs.

Saturday marked the hosting of "Splash Fest," a family-focused event that serves as the highlight of the opening program.

The event promises a diverse range of age-appropriate activities, culminating in a performance scheduled for midday.

Ticket prices start at SR275 ($73) for visitors aged 12 and above, while juniors between 4 and 11 years old can enjoy the park from SR170.

Children under 4 enter for free when booked through aquarabiaqiddiyacity.com or the official app.

For those seeking more convenience, an annual pass is available for SR1,200, granting multiple entries to the park (excluding access to Surf Lagoon, Herding Grounds, and Aquaticar).

Visitors can further enhance their experience with premium add-ons such as luxury cabanas, Aqua Fast Pass service for skipping queues, and a surfing experience.

The destination offers 24 dining options and seven retail stores offering swimwear, sunscreen, and memorabilia.
