Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended their congratulations to King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia on the occasion of his country's Independence Day.

According to a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), King Salman expressed wishes for continued good health and happiness for King Sihamoni, as well as steady progress and prosperity for both the government and the people of Cambodia.Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also sent a separate message to the Cambodian monarch conveying similar sentiments.

November 9 holds significant national importance in Cambodia, commemorating the nation's Declaration of Independence from France in 1953.
