Saudi Arabia to Launch New Entertainment and Aquatic Parks
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment and Nowaar Entertainment will open new entertainment and aquatic parks, starting in Riyadh in 2025. The entertainment sector has grown significantly, creating over 150,000 jobs. Saudi Arabia also signed agreements with Japan to promote projects in construction, tourism, and entertainment.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment has partnered with Nowaar Entertainment to open a series of new entertainment and aquatic parks, with the first park set to launch in Riyadh in 2025.
The agreement, signed in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority, aims to develop multiple parks across the Kingdom.
Since the inception of Vision 2030, the entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia has grown substantially, with the number of companies increasing from fewer than 10 to 4,000, generating over 150,000 local jobs.
Additionally, Saudi Arabia signed 13 agreements with Japan during the Seventh Ministerial Meeting of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 in December 2023, focusing on projects in construction technology, tourism, and entertainment.
The Vision 2030 initiative targets contributing over 23 billion dollars to GDP and creating more than 100,000 jobs by 2030, alongside a 64 billion dollar investment plan to support the sector’s growth.
