Saudi Arabia's Net FDI Inflows Surpass SR13 Billion in Q4 2023, with a 16.1% Increase from Previous Quarter
In the final quarter of 2023, Saudi Arabia's net foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows surpassed SR13 billion ($3.4 billion), marking a significant 16.1% rise from the SR11 billion ($2.9 billion) recorded in the previous quarter, as reported by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
The total FDI inflows into the Saudi economy reached SR19 billion ($5 billion) during the fourth quarter, representing a 16.6% increase from the SR16 billion ($4.2 billion) in the third quarter.
Simultaneously, the value of FDI outflows from the Saudi economy during the fourth quarter of 2023 was approximately SR6 billion ($1.6 billion), which represented a substantial 17.6% increase compared to the SR5 billion ($1.3 billion) in the third quarter.
