Omani Luxury Perfume House Amouage Deepens Presence in Saudi Arabia with New Boutiques and Cultural Initiatives

Amouage expands its footprint in the Kingdom with flagship stores in Jeddah and Riyadh as part of broader Middle Eastern growth strategy
Amouage, the esteemed high perfumery house founded in Oman in 1983, is significantly expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia amid robust demand for luxury fragrance and cultural resonance in the region.

The brand has recently inaugurated its first standalone boutique in the Kingdom at the Red Sea Mall in Jeddah, offering visitors a multisensory experience inspired by the city’s coastal heritage and natural beauty.

This opening marks a pivotal moment in Amouage’s strategic rollout in one of the Middle East’s largest luxury markets, where perfumery holds deep cultural significance.

Following the Jeddah launch, the House has announced additional flagship locations are scheduled to open in Riyadh before the end of the year, including at the Solitaire Mall and Nakheel Mall, reinforcing its commitment to selective physical retail expansion in Saudi Arabia’s capital.

These new boutiques reflect Amouage’s philosophy of rooted presence, blending traditional Arabian fragrance artistry with bespoke spatial design that evokes local landscapes and heritage narratives.

The Saudi expansions align with broader performance trends for Amouage, which has reported strong retail and digital growth driven in part by Middle Eastern markets.

Boutique sales have risen markedly, and Saudi Arabia, together with the United Arab Emirates, has doubled year-on-year demand for the brand’s creations, underscoring the Kingdom’s status as a key regional hub for luxury goods and artisanal craftsmanship.

Beyond retail, Amouage has been active culturally, participating in experiential showcases such as the ‘Frankincense House’ at The Incense Road Experience in AlUla, which highlights the ancient aromatic tradition shared between Oman and Saudi Arabia.

Such initiatives underscore the deep historical and sensory ties that high perfumery embodies across the Arabian Peninsula, connecting centuries-old incense traditions with contemporary olfactory expression.

Amouage’s expansion in Saudi Arabia represents both a commercial milestone and a cultural bridge, reinforcing the House’s role in celebrating and elevating Arabian perfume heritage while engaging a discerning global clientele.

As luxury consumption and cultural tourism flourish in the Kingdom, the brand’s carefully curated network of boutiques reinforces its artisanal identity and strategic positioning within the region’s dynamic luxury landscape.
