Media Minister Launches Screening of Wildlife Documentary 'Horizon Saudi Arabia'
Media Minister Salman Al-Dosari launched the wildlife film 'Horizon Saudi Arabia' by the Konoz Initiative at the Government Communication Center in Riyadh last Thursday, in front of National Center of Wildlife officials and media representatives.
The film, set to stream on Netflix and other platforms starting January 4, 2024, showcases Saudi Arabia's wildlife diversity and conservation efforts led by the NCW and collaborators. It was made with scientific support from the NCW and features contributions from 13 Saudi researchers.
At the event, Konoz announced new collaborations with eight media and artistic organizations to broaden their content's reach. The film's production adhered to high international standards, reflecting the Ministry of Media's commitment to promoting Saudi environmental treasures.
The Konoz Initiative, under Saudi Vision 2030's Human Capacity Development Program, creates documentaries and other visual content highlighting Saudi culture and successes with local companies to meet global production quality. It has produced films like "A Difficult Stage" and "Saudi Atlas," contributing to Saudi Arabia's goals of enhancing local visual content production.
