China Southern Airlines to Launch Regular Flights to Saudi Arabia: Boosting Connectivity and Trade
China Southern Airlines has been given approval by the Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to operate regular flights between Saudi Arabia and China.
The new service will begin on April 16 and will include both passenger/commercial and cargo flights.
In the initial plan, China Southern Airlines will operate a total of seven flights per week, with four passenger/commercial flights and three air cargo flights.
The passenger/commercial flights will connect Riyadh with the Chinese cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
This move is a significant step in GACA's efforts to increase air connectivity and expand the Kingdom's air transport network.
It aligns with the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the objectives of the Saudi aviation strategy, which aim to expand international travel and trade routes to and from the Kingdom.
By fostering economic growth and international collaboration, this development is expected to contribute to the Kingdom's ambitious plans for the future.
