Catwalk aims to preserve Arabian leopards in Saudi Arabia
Catmosphere will host its yearly Catwalk event on February 10 to support the preservation of Arabian leopards in Saudi Arabia.
This 7 km walk is open to both local and international participants, featuring numerous activities along the route. The event commemorates the UN's declaration of February 10 as the International Day of the Arabian Leopard.
Founded by Princess Reema bint Bandar, Catmosphere aims to educate people about the Arabian leopard, foster environmental connection, and prevent the species' extinction.
The Catwalk has garnered appreciation from local citizens and officials, and it aligns with the Kingdom's biodiversity conservation efforts across terrestrial, aerial, and marine ecosystems.
Its purpose is not only to celebrate the leopard but also to motivate people of all ages to assist in safeguarding the species. The walk is designed to be enjoyable and welcoming to all, regardless of ability.
It offers education on the seven big cats and encourages walkers to dedicate their participation to their favorite one, which includes jaguars, lions, snow leopards, and pumas.
Riyadh's Catwalk locations include Diriyah, Al-Amariyah, Boulevard World, and Boulevard City, alongside other privately organized events.
