The UAE saw a significant increase of 64% in trademark registrations during the first quarter of 2024, with a total of 4,610 new registrations.
This is a significant jump from the 2,813 registrations during the same period in 2023.
March was a particularly active month with 2,018 new brands registered.
The sectors with the most registrations included smart technology, transportation, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, finance, real estate, and more.
The previous months of January and February also saw sustained growth with 2,592 registrations combined.
