From September 17-19, over 200 volunteers participated in the Saudi Fingerprints initiative to transform Jeddah's central fruit and vegetable market with vibrant colors. This effort, in collaboration with the Jeddah Central Market Co., the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and the Hatan volunteering team, aimed to beautify the market and enhance the urban landscape, reflecting a strong community-driven spirit.
Shifting gears, Saudi Border Guards recently thwarted major drug smuggling attempts in Asir and Jazan. On September 27, they intercepted 180 kg of qat in Asir and seized 7,300 amphetamine pills, 8,600 regulated tablets, and 230 kg of qat in Al-Daer, Jazan, handing over the seized narcotics to authorities while urging citizens to report drug smuggling activities through designated helplines.
Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance hosted an intensive training course for 450 imams, preachers, and Islamic leaders in West Sumatra. Held in collaboration with the Yayasan Dar El-Iman Padang, this three-day event aimed to enhance religious leaders' skills and promote Shariah teachings, with foundation head Mohammed Elvi Syam expressing gratitude for Saudi support.
