RIYADH: The city of Riyadh recently welcomed the rich cultural heritage of Egypt through a three-day celebration known as the Egyptian Cultural Days.
This event, which took place at Al-Suwaidi Park, is part of the broader 'Global Harmony 2' initiative under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, specifically falling under the Quality of Life Program administered by the Ministry of Media in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority, according to a report from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The event attracted large crowds, including members of the Egyptian community and individuals of various nationalities.
Visitors were immersed in Egypt's vibrant culture through an array of artistic and interactive activities that filled the park with a festive atmosphere, as described by SPA.
Opening night featured a diverse program designed to entertain and engage attendees.
Hosts Adam Al-Shami and Rima Karaki introduced guests to the evening’s schedule, setting the stage for what promised to be an authentic Egyptian cultural experience.
Performances included interactive circus shows, acrobatic displays that captivated audiences of all ages, as well as musical and artistic presentations that infused energy into the festivities and encouraged audience participation.
Egyptian Cultural Days is part of a larger series at Al-Suwaidi Park, which will feature 14 different global cultures.
