The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) in Saudi Arabia has been ranked 15th globally in the latest Brand Finance report, which evaluates the world's top 250 hospitals.
The hospital, recognized as the leading academic medical centre in the Middle East and North Africa, improved its position by five places, highlighting its strong reputation among healthcare professionals and its pioneering role in robotic surgery innovations.
The report noted KFSH&RC's high scores for research recommendations, contributing to its global standing.
The rise of Middle Eastern hospitals in global rankings is attributed to significant government investments in healthcare, fostering world-class medical centers.
Andrew Campbell, managing director of Brand Finance Middle East, emphasized that the region is becoming a prominent healthcare hub, attracting both international patients and medical professionals.
The report also featured other hospitals from the Middle East, with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi ranked 22nd globally, and several hospitals from Qatar and Morocco showing impressive gains, including Mohammed VI University Hospital in Morocco at 28th.
The 2025 study also highlighted key factors that attract healthcare professionals to hospitals, such as patient care, research, and education.
