Grand Mufti Welcomes the President of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque
In Riyadh, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, the Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and the Head of the Permanent Committee for Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, hosted a meeting with His Excellency the President of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majed.
During the meeting, the Grand Mufti praised the significant efforts and achievements accomplished by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. These efforts have enriched the spiritual experience for visitors and pilgrims of the two holy mosques, especially during the Ramadan season, by creating a conducive atmosphere for devotion and faith. He emphasized the paramount importance and the revered status of the two holy mosques to Muslims worldwide.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais presented to the Grand Mufti the activities and preparations carried out by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque during Ramadan. Furthermore, he discussed the preparations for the upcoming seminar on the Fatwa of the Two Holy Mosques and its role in facilitating the needs of the visitors and pilgrims. This seminar is slated to take place in Medina. Additionally, he briefed on the strategic future plans of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, aimed at promoting the moderate message of the two holy mosques globally in multiple languages.
