Saudi Arabia's humanitarian agency, KSrelief, has recently distributed 370 food baskets in the flood-affected Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan.
This aid, which benefited 2,590 individuals, was part of the fourth phase of Saudi Arabia's Food Security Support Project in Pakistan, scheduled for completion in 2024.
Meanwhile, in Nigeria, KSrelief, in partnership with a civil society organization, initiated a new project to drill six solar-powered medium-depth water wells in Kwara State.
Each well, reaching a depth of approximately 80 meters and equipped with 5,000-liter tanks, aims to provide water for around 30,000 individuals.
The recipients of the water wells expressed their gratitude towards Saudi Arabia for addressing their essential water needs.
