Yalla Group to Open Regional Headquarters in Riyadh

Yalla Group to Open Regional Headquarters in Riyadh

The gaming firm plans to establish its regional base in the Saudi capital.
Saudi Arabia's efforts to attract global technology and gaming firms have gained momentum with Yalla Group Ltd.'s announcement to set up its regional headquarters in Riyadh.

The new office, scheduled to open in the first half of 2026 at Roshn Front, will serve as the anchor for Yalla's operations in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region, according to the company's statement.

This move follows a meeting in Beijing between Yalla's leadership and Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation and the Arab Esports Federation.

The new facility is expected to bolster Yalla Group's presence in Saudi Arabia and capitalize on the Kingdom's growing digital and entertainment ecosystem.

Riyadh is aggressively attracting multinational firms through its regional headquarters program, which offers tax incentives and procurement advantages.

Over 780 companies have been granted licenses to relocate their regional bases to the capital, as announced by Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih at the Future Investment Initiative in October.

Prince Faisal highlighted that Yalla Group's decision underscores international confidence in Saudi Arabia's expanding digital economy and its robust ecosystem for creative industries.

He emphasized that this move will broaden the Kingdom's gaming landscape, create new opportunities for Saudi talent, and support Vision 2030 goals, which aim to establish Saudi Arabia as a regional leader in digital entertainment and technology.

The Riyadh headquarters will function as a central hub for managing Yalla's operations and partnerships across Saudi Arabia and beyond.

It will facilitate closer ties with local stakeholders, the development of localized gaming content, and collaboration within the Kingdom's entertainment ecosystem.

Saifi Ismail, president of Yalla Group and CEO of the Riyadh regional office, stated that the opening marks a strategic milestone in their expansion plans in the Saudi market.

He added that the new office will enable Yalla to manage its operations across Saudi Arabia more effectively, foster stronger partnerships, and drive growth within an integrated technology ecosystem that promotes innovation.
