Saudia Allocates 1.2 Million Seats for Hajj Pilgrims, Offers Top-Notch Services with Specialized Teams and Virtual Simulations

Saudia, the Saudi Arabian national airline, has announced its plans for the Hajj season this year, providing over 1.2 million seats for pilgrims.
With a fleet of over 150 aircraft, Saudia aims to offer excellent services during the 74-day operational period, which starts on May 9 and covers both arrivals and departures.

The airline has established specialized teams for monitoring performance, managing lounges, coordinating with other sectors, and implementing an emergency plan in collaboration with stakeholders.

Virtual simulations have been carried out at Jeddah and Madinah airports to prepare for the Hajj season.

Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, is preparing to welcome over 120,000 pilgrims during the Hajj season at five domestic airports: Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Yanbu.

The airline will employ over 11,000 frontline staff and maintenance technicians to ensure smooth operations.

Two initiatives, the Makkah Route and "Hajj with No Bags," will be implemented to cater to pilgrims.

Saudia aims to handle 270,000 bags and 240,000 Zamzam water bottles during the season.

CEO Amer Alkhushail expressed the airline's honor to serve pilgrims and highlighted the valuable experience gained from previous Hajj seasons.

The Saudia Group is preparing for the Hajj season by making agreements with governments and travel agents to increase seat capacity and serve over 100 destinations across four continents.

They are facilitating electronic reservations and ticket issuance, and conducting awareness campaigns about luggage requirements.

The Saudia Group is also supporting the implementation of flights through the Makkah Route Initiative.

Saudia, the Saudi Arabian national airline, caters to pilgrims from around the world during the Hajj season.

Their multilingual workforce communicates in 30 languages.

Saudia offers customized meals onboard to accommodate diverse preferences.

In-flight entertainment includes educational and guidance materials in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Additionally, Saudia provides luggage collection services from pilgrims' residences to make travel easier after completing Hajj rituals.
