A Saudi relief plane has touched down at Aleppo International Airport, marking the beginning of a series of missions aimed at providing aid to those affected by wildfires in Syria’s Latakia governorate.

The flight, organized by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) with support from the Ministry of Defense, carried shelter materials and emergency supplies intended for communities impacted by the fires.Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, an advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, highlighted that this mission reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to solidarity and brotherhood.

This initiative is part of a larger effort, with the flight representing the 17th such mission conducted by the Kingdom in response to various crises.KSrelief has collaborated with Syria's Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management to ensure that firefighting teams in Kasab, Latakia receive necessary equipment and technical assistance.

The agreement seeks to bolster Syria’s disaster management capabilities and enhance its ability to respond quickly and effectively to such emergencies.
