Saudi Literary Creativity Competition Honors Emerging Talent
Annual event recognizes outstanding performers in four literary disciplines.
The second Literary Creativity competition, organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, concluded with a ceremony held at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The event aimed to identify and celebrate exceptional talent across four literary disciplines: classical poetry, Nabati poetry, novel writing, and short story composition.
Awarding SR1.2 million ($320,000) in total prize money, the competition serves as a vital platform for university-level students to enhance their literary skills and inspire future generations of creators.
CEO Abdullatif Al-Wasel emphasized the commission's dedication to fostering talent development and reinforcing Saudi literature's cultural impact through collaboration with academic institutions.
The ceremony not only recognized top performers but also acknowledged the role models who contribute to the growth and global presence of Saudi literature.
