Cristiano Ronaldo made a surprise visit to the CR7 Life Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui on the evening of August seventeenth, during his stay in Hong Kong for the Saudi Super Cup. Fans who had gathered outside the K11 MUSEA venue waited for hours before his appearance, drawing cheers and excitement as he toured the exhibition honoring his career.
Ronaldo briefly emerged, seemingly prepared to sign jerseys, but withdrew when some fans pressed against barricades. After approximately thirty minutes, he departed.
The museum, which opened in early July, presents more than forty exhibits — including trophies, match-worn jerseys and boots, a replica of his childhood room, life-sized statues and interactive displays.
It is Asia’s first Cristiano Ronaldo museum and is scheduled to remain open for about one year, with tickets available in varying tiers including VIP packages that grant special access to exhibits and merchandise zones.
While Ronaldo’s exact role in the opening events was unconfirmed, the visit coincides with heightened interest in the city’s growing sports tourism scene. Fans have also gathered in other parts of Tsim Sha Tsui, including outside the hotel where his club, Al-Nassr, is based, following his arrival earlier in the week.
