Saudi-led Ministers Urge International Sanctions Against Israel for Gaza Violations
Ministers from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Arab League met in Riyadh to discuss the Israeli conflict in Gaza.
They urged international sanctions against Israel, called for accountability through legal mechanisms, and advocated for halting arms exports due to Israeli violations of international law.
The ministers also rejected any attempts to displace Palestinians or carry out military operations in Rafah, considering Gaza an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territory.
The ministers discussed the repression of peaceful demonstrators in Western countries who support an end to the Gaza conflict and condemn Israeli violations against Palestinians.
They emphasized the importance of stopping hostilities in Gaza, prioritizing civilian safety, and delivering humanitarian aid consistently.
The group committed to continuing international efforts to establish a Palestinian state, endorsing a two-state solution with East Jerusalem as its capital within the 1967 borders, in accordance with international resolutions.
