Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province: A Local Farmers Market Showcasing Produce and Culinary Delights, May 16-18
A farmers market showcasing locally grown produce and culinary specialties from Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province will take place at Alkhobar Waterfront from May 16-18.
The event aims to support local farmers and artisans, and highlight the region's agricultural offerings, including dates, dried limes, vegetables, and various fruits.
A separate area will feature dishes and beverages made from the finest local ingredients by local producers.
The farmers market in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Eastern Province Municipality offers live musical performances and activities for children.
The market aims to promote locally sourced products both domestically and internationally, and facilitates direct sales from farmers to consumers to promote sustainability and local investment in the culinary arts sector.
