Saudi Diplomat Urges Cooperation at Arab Economic Forum, Calls for Action on Middle East Conflicts and Palestinian Crisis
During the third meeting of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian and Azerbaijani countries on Tuesday in Doha, Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed Elkhereiji, emphasized the significance of the gathering to strengthen cooperation and discuss the regional and global challenges.
Elkhereiji reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's stance, urging the international community to take swift action against Israel's aggression towards Palestinians, which includes collective punishment and the ongoing siege of Gaza Strip.
He expressed deep concern over the military escalation in the Middle East and urged all parties to exercise restraint to prevent the region and its people from experiencing the devastating consequences of war.
