Saudi Deputy Minister and Honduran Foreign Minister Discuss Strengthening Relations and Sign Cooperation Agreement
On Tuesday, in the capital city of Tegucigalpa, Honduran Foreign Minister Eduardo Enrique Reina held a meeting with Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and strengthen the existing relations between Saudi Arabia and Honduras, as well as touch upon significant regional and international matters, according to a statement released by the Saudi Foreign Ministry on X.
During the course of their discussion, both ministers reached an agreement on enhancing cooperation between their respective countries.
To formalize this, they signed a general framework accord for collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Honduras.
The Saudi delegation was represented by Haitham bin Hassan Al-Maliki, the nonresident ambassador to Honduras, and Mutashar Al-Enezi, the director general of the deputy minister’s office.
