Saudi Crown Prince Holds Crisis Talks with World Leaders on Gaza Situation and Bilateral Relations
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Riyadh on Monday.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as regional and international issues, particularly the situation in Gaza.
Leaders discussed ways to stop Israeli military operations and address the security and humanitarian consequences.
Several high-ranking Saudi officials, including Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Ambassadors to various countries, met with Mahmoud Abbas and representatives from the US, UK, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Palestine.
The discussions focused on the military escalation and deteriorating conditions in Gaza, which pose a threat to civilians and regional security and stability.
The Crown Prince of an unspecified kingdom spoke about the efforts being made to prevent the escalation of conflicts in the region and stop the forced displacement of Palestinians.
He reiterated the kingdom's commitment to supporting the Palestinians in their pursuit of a dignified life, fulfilling their aspirations, and achieving peace through just and lasting means.
