Electric Passenger Drones to Launch in Saudi Arabia by Year-End
Electric passenger drones will launch in Saudi Arabia by year-end, says Front End CEO Majed Al-Ghaslan. Partnering with EHang, these eVTOL drones aim to revolutionize urban air mobility as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Additionally, an electric ride-hailing service with Blue Smart is also planned.
Electric passenger drones are scheduled to launch in Saudi Arabia by the end of this year, announced Majed Al-Ghaslan, CEO of Alkhobar-based firm Front End.
The company has partnered with Chinese developer EHang to facilitate these electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles.
These drones, capable of carrying two passengers up to 30 minutes, will use advanced AI technologies and are part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative.
The initiative also includes plans for an electric ride-hailing service with India's Blue Smart.
