Saudi Arabia to Showcase Cultural Heritage at Beijing International Book Fair 2024 as Guest of Honor

Saudi Arabia will serve as the guest of honor at the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) 2024.
The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission and the China National Publications Import and Export Group signed a contract to make this happen.

The 30th BIBF, which is the second largest book fair in the world, will take place at the China National Convention Center from June 19 to 23, 2024.

The signing ceremony was attended by Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah, Dr. Muhammad Hasan Alwan from the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, and Li Hongwen from the China National Publications Import and Export Group.

This collaboration is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural communication and mutual understanding between Saudi Arabia and China in the fields of literature, culture, and arts.

Saudi Arabia will showcase its cultural heritage and diversity at an international fair, led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission.

The presentation includes seminars, dialogue sessions, workshops, and artistic performances covering various cultural domains.

Saudi writers and publishing houses will introduce national innovations and highlight ancient Saudi culture.

Saudi Arabia was the guest of honor at the New Delhi World Book Fair, attracting a large number of visitors and increasing public knowledge about Saudi culture, arts, and heritage.

The Seoul International Book Fair will welcome Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor from June 26-30.

The Beijing International Book Fair, established in 1986, is an annual event attracting over 2600 exhibitors from over 100 countries and regions.

This large-scale international publishing exchange event covers books, digital, animation, and other industries.

Thousands of visitors from various sectors attend each year, making it a crucial platform for international book and literature exchange.
