Six Arab Ministers Call for End to Gaza Conflict, Ceasefire, and Humanitarian Aid Access
Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, held a meeting in Riyadh on Saturday with representatives from Jordan, Egypt, the Palestine Liberation Organization, UAE, and Qatar.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing situation in Gaza and find a solution.
The attendees called for an immediate and complete ceasefire, protection of civilians, and the lifting of restrictions on humanitarian aid.
They also expressed their support for international recognition of a Palestinian state, which they believe is essential for the implementation of a two-state solution.
The ministers called for a Palestinian state with borders based on June 4, 1967, including East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with international resolutions.
They rejected displacement of Palestinians and military operations in Rafah.
They warned against Israeli measures in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, such as settlement expansion, land confiscation, military operations, settler attacks, and restrictions on worship for Muslims and Christians, which undermine the two-state solution.
