Saudi Arabia's Speaker of Shoura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh, met with Jordan's King Abdullah II during an official visit to Jordan.
The leaders discussed strengthening historical ties between their countries and expanding cooperation, particularly in parliamentary affairs.
Al-Asheikh was invited by Jordan's Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Safadi, and the two also held a separate meeting to discuss parliamentary cooperation and enhancing ties in other areas.
Al-Asheikh, the head of Saudi Arabia's Shoura Council, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality during a visit to Jordan.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and keep up with the leadership's goal of enhancing bilateral relations and expanding areas of collaboration in the best interests of both nations.
Safadi, Jordan's prime minister and House of Representatives speaker, acknowledged the strong relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia and appreciated Saudi Arabia's support on various regional and international matters.
