Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior Imposes SR10,000 Fine and Deportation for Entering Makkah Without Hajj Permit
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Interior has announced fines of SR10,000 for anyone entering Makkah without a Hajj permit during the Hajj season from June 2, 2024, to June 20, 2024.
This includes the holy city of Makkah, Central Haram Area, Holy Sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah, Haramain train station in Rusayfah, security control centers, Hajj grouping centers, and temporary security control centers.
Violators, including Saudi citizens, expatriates, and visitors, will be fined if caught without a permit within these specific areas.
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia announced strict measures against expatriates who violate Hajj regulations.
Those found in violation will be deported and banned from reentering the kingdom for a specified period.
Fines for repeat offenses will be doubled.
The penalty for transporting violators includes imprisonment, a fine of up to SR50,000, confiscation of the vehicle, and deportation for expatriate transporters.
