Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation Announces New Direct Flights to Najaf, Part of a Larger National Aviation Expansion Plan
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation has announced the initiation of direct flights from Dammam to Najaf, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on a recent Friday.
This decision aligns with the Kingdom's national aviation sector strategy, which aims to increase capacity to handle over 330 million passengers per year and expand services to over 250 international destinations.
The new flights to Najaf join previously announced routes to Baghdad and Irbil, with services set to begin on June 1.
