Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Strike on Gaza Catholic Church
The Kingdom strongly condemns Israel's continued attacks against innocent civilians and places of worship.
Riyadh, July 17, 2025 - Saudi Arabia condemned an Israeli strike on Gaza’s only Catholic church that resulted in the death of three individuals.
The Foreign Ministry emphasized its strong opposition to Israel's ongoing assaults targeting defenseless civilians and sacred sites.
According to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which oversees the small parish, several others were injured in the attack on the Holy Family Catholic Church compound, where hundreds of Palestinians have sought refuge from the prolonged Israel-Hamas conflict.
The Kingdom has called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to address Israeli practices and establish accountability for these violations that endanger regional stability.
