Saudi Ambassador and JCCME Chairman Discuss Boosting Investments in Tokyo: Focus on Healthcare, Industry, and Entertainment
On Thursday, in Tokyo, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Japan, Dr. Ghazi Binzagr, held a meeting with Nobuyori Kodaira, the chairman of the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), to discuss enhancing mutual investments between their respective countries.
The conversation focused on the significant role that the JCCME plays in facilitating Japan's investments in Saudi Arabia, particularly in sectors such as healthcare, industry, and entertainment.
The JCCME, which was established in the 1990s and has its regional headquarters in Riyadh, has expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia with an office in Dammam that includes an investment desk.
Additionally, a water desk has been set up in Jeddah.
In 2018, the JCCME initiated an investment-promotion scheme to align with the objectives of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030, which is part of the broader Saudi Vision 2030 plan.
This scheme aims to strengthen the economic ties between Japan and Saudi Arabia by encouraging Japanese businesses to invest in the Kingdom.
