A new promotional video for the revival of the anime series "Grendizer U" has been released, showcasing Saudi Arabian locations and updated character designs.
The video is available on Manga Productions' YouTube channel in Arabic, English, French, and Italian.
Manga Productions' CEO, Dr. Essam Bukhary, expressed excitement about introducing the character of Grendizer to new audiences through this global distribution.
A partnership between Dynamic Planning, which owns the rights to Grendizer, and Manga Productions was established in 2022.
The anime is set to air in July.
In August 2023, a teaser for the new "UFO Robo Grendizer" series was unveiled at the Akiba Daisuki Festival in Tokyo.
The largest metal statue of the fictional character, standing at over 33 meters high, was revealed in Riyadh and recorded by Guinness World Records.
Last year, "UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves" game was released in the Middle East and North Africa in collaboration with French company Microids.
The new series, based on Go Nagai's "UFO Robo Grendizer," has an official English trailer on Manga Productions' YouTube channel, and the staff of "Grendizer U," including General Director Mitsuo Fukuda, were featured in a second video.
