More than Half of Food Poisoning Cases in Riyadh Discharged from ICU: Ministry of Health Spokesman

Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdali, a spokesperson for Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health, reported that over half of the food poisoning cases in Riyadh have been discharged from intensive care units.
Twenty-five of the hospitalized individuals have been released after their conditions stabilized.

The ministry has confirmed that there are no new sources linked to the food poisoning cases, which were previously announced.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of obtaining information from official sources and avoiding the spread of rumors and unconfirmed information.

A restaurant in Riyadh caused food poisoning for 35 people, leading to its closure by the Riyadh Mayoralty.

The mayoralty ordered inspections at the central laboratory to determine the cause and increased health surveillance to prevent further cases.

They prioritized maintaining the highest standards of environmental and public health safety.
