King Khalid Foundation and TCS Partner for 'Sustainathon': A 3-Month Digital Sustainability Initiative for Saudi University Students
The King Khalid Foundation and TATA Consultancy Services have partnered to launch "Sustainathon," a three-month initiative to promote sustainable digital practices among university students in Saudi Arabia.
Students will design projects and attend online seminars for assistance.
At the end of the period, ideas will be presented to a panel of judges, with prizes given based on adherence to UN Sustainable Development Goals and practical applications.
The King Khalid Foundation, represented by its CEO Princess Nouf, and TCS, represented by its President and Regional Director Sumanta Roy, signed an agreement to promote cooperation between the private and not-for-profit sectors.
The King Khalid Foundation, established in 2001, is an independent national non-profit organization with a vision to create a prosperous society based on equality and sustainability.
TCS aims to facilitate information exchange and expertise sharing through this partnership.
