GCC Secretary-General Attends Gulf Parliament Speakers' Meeting with European Parliament President

Riyadh - The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Al-Budaiwi, joined a meeting in Abu Dhabi on Monday with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, alongside speakers from the Shura, Representatives, National and Ummah Councils of GCC states.
The gathering aimed at establishing a stable mechanism to regulate interactions between Gulf parliaments and their European counterpart.
According to an official report, Al-Budaiwi highlighted the strategic timing of the meeting, underscoring its significance amid growing Gulf-European relations and a shared perspective on regional and international issues.
He emphasized that this convergence of views presents opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.
