GCC Ministers Urge Peace in Palestine: End Hostilities, Protect Worship Sites, and Recognize Palestinian State
GCC foreign ministers met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Riyadh and strongly opposed any attempts to displace Palestinians, escalation of violence in the West Bank, and obstruction of access to worship sites.
They called for an immediate and complete cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, ending Israeli military operations, and protecting civilians in accordance with international law.
The GCC also reiterated its rejection of practices threatening the displacement of Palestinian people and exacerbating tensions in the West Bank.
