Al-Bulaihi Named in Asian Cup Dream Team with Four Players from Champions Qatar

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the Asian Cup Dream Team, which includes four players from the newly crowned back-to-back champions Qatar, whereas Jordan's star Musa Al-Taamari was notably absent.
Qatar triumphed 3-1 over Jordan in the final, a match that saw Akram Afif scoring a hat-trick all from penalties at the Lusail Stadium. Afif, who was selected for the Dream Team, clinched the tournament’s Best Player award in addition to being the top scorer with eight goals.

From Jordan, which reached its first-ever final, only two players were selected by the AFC: Abdullah Nassib and Yazan Al-Naimat.

Below is the Dream Team lineup published by the AFC on its account on the X social media platform:

Goalkeeper: Meshaal Barsham (Qatar)

Defense: Abdullah Nassib (Jordan) - Ali Al-Bulaihi (Saudi Arabia) - Lucas Mendez (Qatar)

Midfield: Kang In-Lee (South Korea) - Hassan Al-Haydos (Qatar) - Craig Goodwin (Australia) - Mehdi Ghayedi (Iran)

Forward Line: Yazan Al-Naimat (Jordan) - Ayman Hussein (Iraq) - Akram Afif (Qatar).
