Lawyer Mostafa Nili announced on social media platform X that 'Mohammadi was sentenced to one year in prison for propaganda against the system'.
The sentence was issued due to her calls to boycott parliamentary elections, letters to Swedish and Norwegian lawmakers, and comments about journalist Mrs. Dina Ghalibaf.
Ghalibaf was detained following accusations against security forces but has since been released.
The Iranian judiciary asserts that Ghalibaf's allegations were false.
Mohammadi has refused to attend her trial and has condemned Iran's policies against women in an audio message from prison.
Recently, Iranian police have intensified enforcement of the Islamic dress code for women using video surveillance.
Women in Iran are required to cover their hair and dress modestly in public under rules established after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
